There are several movie versions of Scooby Doo. In fact, more and more keep coming out and you can easily find them by using on television from www.direct.tv and on DVD from your local redbox kiosk. Warner Brother’s first did a live action film using movie stars for the Hanna Barbera popular animated feature in 2002. The film was titled Scooby Doo. This was followed by a sequel in 2004. The original live action film featured Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne, Freddie Prinze Jr. as Fred and Linda Cardellini as Velma. Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, followed in 2004.

Scooby Doo has become popular again since it first appeared as a regular cartoon in 1969. The show features a team of teenage detectives that solve mysteries with their pal Scooby who is a dog. The team often solves these mysteries while traveling through the country in their van.

Here are some Scooby Doo interesting Trivia facts. Matthew Lillard did the voice for Shaggy for the recent cartoon movie called, Scooby Doo Abracadabra Doo. It was the first time he has done the voice since he acted as Shaggy in the two live action films he did of Scooby Doo. The voice of Shaggy was done by Casey Kasem in the original cartoon from 1969. This cartoon movie by DTV is the first time that the Hanna Barerra logo was not featured in the end of the cartoon, mainly because Warner Brothers Animation had made all the DTV Scooby Doo movies.
