Scooby-Doo and his mystery solving friends have captured global audiences since 1969. With the series “What’s New Scooby-Doo” running on Cartoon Network, and the classic cartoons still airing on Boomerang, the Great Dane remains a beloved character. But did you know that you can also live the world of Scooby-Doo? All across the world, theme parks have taken Scooby-Doo and turned his mystery solving antics into fun and memorable rides.Scooby-Doo’s Ghoster CoasterLocated in Doswell, Virginia, the Ghoster Coaster has been at Kings Dominion’s since the park’s original opening in 1974. The park only had two rides then (Ghoster Coaster being one) and wouldn’t offer more until its 1975 opening. This Scooby-Doo adventure takes park guests on a rip-roaring adventure over a bright blue wooden coaster. Admission to King’s Dominion is priced at 56.99 for adults and 34.99 for seniors and children. (more…)
